Apato 6.5'' Hoverboard For Kids - Chrome Purple

My daughter absolutely loves her new board! The purple color is gorgeous, and the LED lights are so cool looking while she's riding. This connects to Bluetooth easily, and she loves that she's able to listen to her favorite music while riding. It did take her a few days to get the hang of it, but I feel that the self balancing feature really helped her, and now she's a pro! Highly recommend these boards!

I bought two Stary night, bluetooth enabled Hoverboards with side lights from SImate for 9 and 7 year old children. They are great and gives my kids hours of fun!! I have read confused reviews from buyers who could not find the instructions. The Hoverboards are SELF-BALANCING ELECTRIC SCOOTERS which doesn't need much to learn, its all about balance and confidence. However, it might need to be recalibrated once in a while when the red light comes on. Below are some points to keep in mind and direction on when to calibrate the hoverboard. Enjoy!!!

1). Please charge Hoverboard fully (2-3 hours) before using it.
2). DO NOT overcharge.
3). Do Not exceed the weight limit.
4). Do Not continue to use the hoverboard when the battery signal turns/flashes red. Re-charge
5). When the red light comes on (not the battery symbol); it indicates "calibration warning", not necessarily "low battery"!!(Happened to me when i tried to pair with my phone's Bluetooth by holding the power button for a few seconds.)

My son purchased this with his own money and he was so excited for it. I can see the frustration that all the other reviewers had but I am convinced it is partial user error. My son is 10 years old, tall, and weighs 99 lbs. He has had no issues on the hover board. Yes, it is fast, but you have to learn to go slow at first until you're comfortable. I think those that are going too fast aren't easing into it correctly. My daughter is 7, weighs 60 lbs, and takes gymnastics. She had a harder time figuring out how to balance and ease into her ride.

We are trying to follow the battery rules by only charging it when it's low and letting it get a full charge. I am very strict that it not charge overnight or when we leave the house.

I will update the review if our opinion changes or something wonky happens.

Like hoverboard as a gift. She told me she had a friend who had one and she thought it was fun, so I quietly bought one as a gift for her, which was novel and fun. If you want to pick a great gift, this is definitely a good choice!
