It's a nice, lightweight kick scooter. There was no assembly, simply unfold it, adjust it to where you need it, and off you go. It feels durable and stable, even when going over rocks and cracks. It rides smooth and would be great for any age range. I ordered the purple and black and I love the way it looks. Just an all around, nice kick scooter.
